Session data: A temporary 6-digit session ID used to connect your device to a venue's TV screen. This is stored in your browser session only and is not linked to your identity.
Usage data: Basic analytics such as the number of videos cast per session. No personally identifiable information is collected.
No account required: JukeCast does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the service.

2. YouTube API Services

JukeCast uses the YouTube Data API v3 to enable video search and playback. By using JukeCast, you are also subject to:

We use the YouTube API solely to search for videos and retrieve video metadata (title, thumbnail, duration) based on your search queries. We do not store, download, or redistribute any YouTube content or data. All YouTube data displayed in JukeCast is fetched in real time and exists only for the duration of your browser session.

We use the information we collect to:

Connect your device to a venue TV screen via a session ID
Process video search requests and display results
Improve and maintain the JukeCast service

4. Data Storage and Retention

YouTube API data (search results, video metadata) is stored only in your browser session and is automatically cleared when your session ends — typically within 24 hours. We do not persist YouTube API data to any database or server beyond the active session.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

JukeCast uses browser local storage to remember your session ID so you don't have to re-enter it on return visits. No third-party tracking cookies are used. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. The only third-party services we use are:

Google / YouTube — for video search and metadata via YouTube Data API v3
Firebase (Google) — for real-time session management between your phone and the venue TV

7. Children's Privacy

JukeCast is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
